I graduated from UNC Charlotte on December 19, 2015 with a BS in computer science. I am experienced in the languages listed to the right, but I have also worked with a number of other languages such as LISP, Prolog, Ruby, Visual Basic, Pbasic, C#, Assembly, and JavaScript. Below, in the "Work experience" section, you will find a number of coding projects that can also be seen in the "My Projects" tab for this website.


I am looking for work in anything related to technology maintenance/repair, technology installation, network administration, database management, back-end programming, and front end-programming. Work experience

Duke Energy - IT Associate I

Sep `16 – present

This is a three year rotational position where I will work in three different departments doing different things (1 each year) and I will be given the ability to choose my permanent assignment at the end. Rotation 1 work: Develop Android applications, Hololense Applications, work with training gameification, and served as the Scrum Master for a team.

Freelance coding - Coder for hire

Feb `14 - sep `16

Hired by a number of people to create scripts and set up server systems for a number of games such as Minecraft and DayZ. The main languages dealt with during these contracts were Java, C++, SQF, MySQL, and HTML.

University of North Carolina at Charlotte - Teaching Assistant

Aug `12 – Dec `15

Classes I worked with: Introduction to C++, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and Ethics in Science, Technology, and Society

Duties: Teach/monitor labs, grade/administer tests and homework, and hold office hours every week

Watsonsim: Deep Question Analysis Engine - Project Team Member

Aug `14 – Jun `15

Developed from an overview of IBM’s project, this system answers Jeopardy style questions using machine learning, text processing, and text analysis. The project is in development by computer science students at UNC Charlotte.

UNC Charlotte Senior Project - Project Lead

Feb `14 - present

This is a website created as a senior project for my computer science degree at UNC Charlotte. The project was completed by a team of 3 people and allows users to upload notes to compare notes between students and create study guides. The site uses JavaScript, PHP, and CSS as well as the Bootstrap framework.
